Tyler is a life-long artist, he began playing the guitar and sketching at age 6, and has broaden his creative palette to include piano, bass guitar, banjo, percussion, painting, and acting. He began his acting journey in 2023 at Coldtowne Theater, in Austin Texas, where he studies, writes, and performs improvised and scripted sketch comedy. Tyler is training film acting with experienced movie actress and Julliard graduate, Mona Lee Fultz. Acting has become a passion that he approaches with professionalism, dedication, and love. He also enjoys practicing film fighting choreography at Cabrera Camp, learning weapons and combat skills that translate to screen.
Tyler was born and raised in a small Southeast Texas town, stuck in the middle of his two sisters and two stepbrothers. He joined the Navy after high school where he served aboard guided missile cruisers and frigates. Being stationed in Japan, he sailed all over the Asian Pacific and enjoyed experiencing all the different cultures and cuisine. During his time in the Navy, he excelled as a Gas Turbine Electrical Technician and also as a Fire Fighting team leader on board his ship. Tyler was awarded a Navy Achievement Medal and Letter of Commendation from 7th fleet Admiral for his service. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, he moved to Austin Texas where he has resided for the last 19 years. Over these years, Tyler has had a successful career in project management for both semiconductor manufacturing and healthcare industries.
When Tyler’s not pursuing his creative passions, he enjoys practicing and teaching yoga and being outdoors. Whether it’s on the water, a hiking trail or hanging out on a patio, Tyler is in his happy place close to nature.
